Cynthia Favret, B.S.
Cynthia Favret is the Testing Specialist at Piedmont Psychological Services. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University. She also received a Certificate of Academic Therapy/Orton Gillingham Certificate from the Tri-Services National Institute of Dyslexia. At Piedmont Psychological Services, Cynthia administers standardized tests designed to assess students' academic needs and progress. In addition, she is the Co-Director for Piedmont Academic Success Services (PASS) in which she oversees one-on-one and small group tutoring. She gathers information from parents, students, and teachers to develop individualized tutoring programs. She provides the needed materials and consults with tutors on a regular basis.
Cynthia is the mother of 2 children and the wife of Marty Favret, football coach at Hampden-Sydney College. Outside of the office, Cynthia enjoys sewing and knitting. She also loves to read, travel, and, of course, watch football.
